First Aid Oil & Salve Recipe

An herbal first aid solution, whether a salve, cream or oil, has been a staple in our house ever since we started learning about herbal medicine. Topical applications of herbs are some of the most accessible and safest preparations, especially if you’re new to herbalism, nervous about ingesting plants, and/or you’re on medications and uncertain about contraindications.

And of course, in the case of first aid, a topical application is best because you can apply it directly to the area that needs relief. In this video, I’m going to share and demonstrate how to make my simple first-aid infused oil/salve recipe.

We have used this oil for years on cuts, stings, scratches, bites, scrapes, sprains, itchy skin, strains, rashes and sunburn. We’ve even used it like a daily moisturizer. It heals skin quickly, helps you glow, and is very versatile. I hope you make it!
